Chris Brown

I figured it was high time I weighed in on something entertainment related. This is the story that won't go away...but for the wrong reasons. For those who have been under a rock Chris Brown * allegedly * beat his girlfriend Rihanna to a pulp prior to the Grammy awards earlier this month.

I am literally shocked by the number of celebs who have spoken out in support of Brown. Are you FREAKIN' kidding me! He is accused of beating his girlfriend.

Kayne West says "can't we just give Chris a break"...ummmm let me think for a nano second. NO KAYNE....NO!

Don't get the idea I am hanging the young man out to dry on this one but until all of the fact's come out on this one then he should not be supported. Right now the spin doctors of the music industry are in full flight trying to save the very lucrative career of the talented star. Yes, he made a mistake, but those in the public eye need to above the fray.

If you want to be famous, then try not to be a f*ck up (Michael Phelps). Though, you are entitled to have human moments of weakness but then you should suffer the consequences. If it means you lose your endorsements...then so be it.

As the famous TV detective Baretta said "if you can't do the time, don't do the crime" funny how that worked out for the actor who portrayed him in real life (Google Robert Blake).

I say let's wait and see what the truth is. As always in domestic situations there are three sides to the truth...his, hers and the truth.

While we may never know what started the altercation, there is one truth my parents taught me and has been passed down by generations. A very simple rule to follow....
Don't EVER hit a woman..... Chris you are a disappointment men all over the world.

Viral Marketing

Found this interesting article that shares my perspective on this topic 100%. If I hear one more person say "we are creating a viral campaign" ....nobody creates a viral campaign, they HOPE that enough people love it and then share it....that is when it goes VIRAL.

Vacations

Is it just me or does taking a vacation not always seem like a great idea? I just took a glorious week long vacation with my bride...sans children. It was HOT, Sunny and 100% pure luxurious relaxation. I would say this is the perfect prescription to ward of the cold weather blahs we "Northern Dwellers" are subjected to every winter.
Here is the issue..... coming back to snowstorms and cold is depressing and when you add on an email box is overflowing with work that did not stop just because you decided you needed a rest and you have the perfect storm for craziness. I spent two days in my houseclothes working on clean up of projects and holding conference calls to get projects back on target....hell I barely had time to shower and shave today!
Now before you begin wincing about my whining, when YOU did not have the opportunity to vacation let me set the record straight. I loved it,  just don't love the fall out.

Guess that is the price one pay's for taking a mental health break
